Nominated for The Renewal Award at the EG Awards
The Lorenz Consultancy has been shortlisted for an award at Thursday’s Estates Gazette Awards alongside six other nominees. Seeking to ‘celebrate those businesses that had to pivot, reinvent or reimagine their businesses in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic’, the nomination for this special Renewal Award is recognition of the many ways The Lorenz Consultancy has sought to support businesses in the office and hospitality sector throughout the pandemic.
Spearheading a ‘Give Hospitality a Break’ petition, running a series of educational webinars to provide advice to Tenants and Landlords and providing commentary and advice, Managing Director Anthony Lorenz has become a familiar and supportive presence to those in the property industry. He said of the nomination, “So flattered to have been nominated as a Finalist at the EG Awards 2021, for the Company who have changed their business round to cope with the effects of Covid-19.
“Those who know us will know that we went straight into Corporate Recovery, keeping relationships together between Tenants, Landlords, and Bankers. The Government has now outlined the sanity of achieving that goal. Tenants and Landlords have had a tough time, in a period which was / is very difficult to forecast the future, but finally, we are noticing mutual ground being achieved between the parties”.
“Christmas is coming, and let’s hope that, in the spirit of goodwill, negotiations are concluded.”
The EG Awards nomination alongside Arthur, Grayling, Kexgill Group, Savills, Shaftesbury and Sheffield City Council comes just weeks after an exciting win at the PROP Awards for Anthony Lorenz. Crowned ‘Most Promising Newcomer’, Anthony became the first consultant to win the award, joining a prestigious list of recipients including Gerald Ronson CBE, Tony Pidgley CBE, Sir John Beckwith CBE, Sir John Ritblat, Sol Kerzner, Mike Slade, amongst many others.
The EG Awards are a property industry highlight. This year’s event will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, on Thursday, 28 October.
