There is more help on the horizon for Tenants and Landlords following the announcement today that the British Property Federation, Revo, UK Interactive and UK Hospitality have called on the Government to give a £1.75m grant to help Tenants come out of lockdown. The Government will only provide help to Landlords who will match the contributions i.e. Landlords contribute 50% and the Government the remaining 50%. This Government intervention should be a message to Landlords that their Tenants are still in dire need of help and further highlight that rent deferment is not a viable option.
